Public Notice is pleased to present “A Feast of Friends”, a group show featuring the works of West Adler, Grady Borte, Justin Guthrie, Casey Mix, and Audrey Schmidt. The exhibition is on view through April 5, 2025 at Apta in Echo Park.

Titled after a poem by Jim Morrison of the same name, “A Feast of Friends” aims to provide the visual answer to the feelings of uncertainty and unknowing that sits in the chest of many American youth today. The works, most of which are minimal in composition, provide the space for the viewer to project those feelings and feel a sense of community and shared experience. If nobody has the answers, then maybe everybody does. The space that the show is contained in, Apta, is a pop-up restaurant born from the minds of Brian Lee and Anabelle Cole. Their mission too is to provide space for sharing with the like-minded and to foster community and discussion, all over meals centered around the local.
