Chez Coronado is pleased to present Percussion, a show of works by Brett Westfall and Moon Westfall. The show is on view through September 26, 2025 by appointment.
Walking through the door into Brett Westfall and Moon Westfall’s Percussion is like entering into another world. A collaborative print made from both father and daughter’s drawings lines the walls, creating an immersive environment of pink and purple for their paintings and sculptures to sit inside. The print seems to jump off the wall in places, having a three-dimensional effect, drawing the viewer further into the artists universe. This collaborative spirit is how Brett Westfall and Moon Westfall have created throughout the entirety of Moon’s life. Both have exhibited together for over five years, and their works have spanned the mediums of sculpture, painting, drawing, and clothing. Together these pieces have become a sort of family album, documentation of whole stages of life. However, unlike most families’ albums or scrapbooks, we get to see life from not only Brett’s point of view, but also Moon’s.
